      Festivus : ” Festivus for the rest of us” , Wednesday, December 23, Urban Exploring. Seinfeld Festivus Urbex Version of the Strike. Festivus urban explorer on an urban exploration celebrates the “Festivus Holiday” instead of Christmas. According to Wikipedia, Festivus, a well-celebrated parody, has become a secular holiday celebrated on December 23 that serves as an alternative to participating in the pressures and commercialism of the Christmas season. Urban explorers Marko Vovk, Johnno Bashan and guest photographer Don Luce go on a Festivus Urban Exploration mission. They start out at The Woodhull Supply Company which is also known by others as they “Rubber Duck Factory” or the Rubber Duckie Building. From this site they travel to East Cleveland and view many blocks of vacant buildings. Later, they find an access road near the rail road tracks and find an abanaedoed truck yard which they call “ The Island of Misfit Toys” which they get the original idea from the “Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer” Christmas movie. The journey continues to an abandoned homeless camp near the railroad tracks. One homeless man or train hobo was living at the camp. Marko Vovk offered him a twenty ( $20) and the man kindly said “no thank you sir” . From this location, the trio finds a bluff overlooking the valley in Valley View Ohio near Canal road. This access road was located under the high tension wires. The trio ends up at the abandoned Cleveland Westinghouse building also known as the See other videos below
