Abandoned Hugo Boss former The JOSEPH & FEISS CO building located in Cleveland. The NAZI uniform WWII making company acquired the JOSEPH & FEISS CO. The JOSEPH & FEISS CO was a huge Cleveland’s garment industry, came from Meadville, PA, in 1845. At that time they were known as Koch & Loeb. This company set up a wholesale clothing store near 82 Superior St. “The Firm”. This company was run by Kaufman Koch who owned a general line of male clothing. After changing partners several times, “The Firm” became Joseph & Feiss Co. in 1907. Isaac and MORITZ JOSEPH† and Julius Feiss moved to a new factory at 2149 W. 53rd St. in 1921. Under its “Clothcraft” brand name, Joseph & Feiss was famous and nice looking for its $15 blue serge suit as the “Model T” of the clothing industry. During March 1934, 1,801 Joseph & Feiss workers became unionized and negotiated a 10% wage increase. In 1966 the company diversified its lines of clothing and Joseph & Feiss merged with Phillips-Van Heusen Corpbut . The Cleveland operations continued to produce and sell tailored men’s apparel under the Cricketeer and Country Britches label. In 1981 the company added tailored clothes for women to its line. In 1989, Joseph & Feiss was acquired by Hugo Boss AG, a West German clothing and accessory firm. Up until 1995 the company had 801 workers employed Cleveland area at the plant located on W. 53rd St., and Tiedeman Rd which was the distribution center. Due to our government permitting less expensive clothes to enter the USA, and NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) which was signed by Mr. Clinton after fee meetings with “The Bilderberg” and Trilateral Commission, basically destroyed American manufacturing, so the company faced bit time competition from lower-priced imports which is now known as spreading the wealth. The Joseph & Feiss announced that it would be stopping production of its Cricketeer and Country Britches labels. The company then layed off 201 workers. In 1997, Joseph & Feiss moved its remaining manufacturing operations from its W. 53rd St. plant to its distribution center on Tiedeman. Joseph & Feiss, and 451 employees, continues to produce suits, sport coats, and slacks for the Hugo Boss brand. He joined the Nazi Party and was given the relatively low NAZI membership number of 508,889.Boss’s reasons for becoming a Nazi COMMUNIST comparatively early was twofold. First, as an opportunist businessman, it made sense, as it made it easier for Boss to win contracts from the Nazis who were increasingly coming to dominate every aspect of German life. Second, Boss believed that Adolf Hitler was the only man who could lift Germany out of its economic doldrums. Boss was happy to sign contracts with NAZIS and the Nazis were good to Boss. By 1933, he was able to advertise that he made clothes not only for the SS, but also for the Hitler Youth (the brainwashed children of Germany who later went on to kill 6,000,000 JEWS, and the Brownshirts — the paramilitary political wing of the Nazi Party. Then in 1938, business skyrocketed when Boss won contracts to make NAZI army uniforms for Germany and Argentina who loved the NAZIS and even hid thousands of them after WWII to hide them for the war crime Nuremberg Trails. By 1940, the company was turning over some 1,000,000 Reichsmarks, compared to 200,000 Reichsmarks in 1936. Boss died in 1948, but his business has lived on, and now the world’s children wear HUGO BOSS just like the NAZI Hitler Youth wore HUGO BOSS.
