Cleveland Tenant Eviction Plus Ghost seen at 2:15 WOW

In Cleveland, if the tenant does not move out by the court ordered move out date, you need to physically remove them and their belongings from your property. You pay the Cleveland municipal court system a fee so they can send out the sheriff and bailiff to enter the building and physically remove the tenant and their belongings. The landlord must be present to unlock the door or in many cases, kick in the tenant’s door. The sheriff enters the unit and tells the tenant to get out. After the sheriff inspects the unit, he will walk to the front of the building where the move out crew is waiting for his instructions. In Cleveland Ohio, you must hire a professional moving crew that is registered with the city. In Cleveland, a registered move out crew needs to carry 1 million in insurance. You must call the city certified movers and arrange the move out date and fee. Move out fees can be as low as $100 and as high as $1000. After being granted permission by the authority, the professional movers start to remove all the belongings form the house. They make an effort not to break anything during this process. They carry and drag everything to the curb located in the front of the building. After everything including items from kitchen shelves are moved out, the landlord can change the locks or board up the unit. Once the belongs are on the street curb, the tenant or anybody that happens to be passing by can take the items. If garbage collection day is not on the following day, the landlord must remove the items from the curb and put them in storage till the scheduled garbage day. If not, the landlord will receive a ticket or fine for taking the garbage out too early. You need to time your forced move out with your garbage collection day. What happens many times, is that the city inspectors drive by and give homeowners or landlords tickets for taking the garbage out early. These tickets can range from $125 to $300. You can get daily or multiple tickets. In this case, we were lucky that we were still at the home to let the city inspector know that this was an eviction. Do not expect a city employee to know about all forced evictions. This eviction cost $350 for the lawyer and courts, $200 for the moving company, $4000 for property damaged by the tenant, and $6000 in lost rent. Being a landlord in Cleveland can be very expensive. PLUS at photo 2:15 it looks like a ghost. I never remember seeing this possible ghost when I took the photo. I checked all photos taken before and after. VERY STRANGE. When I bought this building, the seller told me the building was haunted. I laughted, that was 20 years. ago.
