Crawl Space by Cleveland Home Inspector Marko Vovk

“Conditioned Crawl Space” by Cleveland home inspector Marko Vovk is explained in this short 2 minute video. Crawl space designs that have exterior ventilation also know as “vented crawl spaces: sometimes create house problems, issues and permit musty odors. Some problems that vented crawl spaces create but not limited to may be, mold, mildew, rot, deterioration, musty house odors, insect infestation, and wood boring insect activity such as termites, carpenters ants and powered post beetles. Additionally, vented crawl spaces could lead to musty cloths odors, mold growth in upper home, poor indoor air quality, heavy dust mite activity, cold floors, condensation and much more. Home inspector Marko Vovk recommends that crawl spaces that are located in cold weather zones like Ohio and most of USA America, should be conditioned crawl spaces. Conditioned crawl space designs are more desirable and would include by not limited to sealing exterior vents, heating, cooling, dehumidifying, installing a 100% sealed floor vapor barrier, installing interior perimeter insulation, and properly managing exterior water sources. Keeping gutters clean, having proper grading, moving sprinkler heads away from foundation are some exterior water management that needs to be implemented. Interview with OCCUPY drunk homeless man

One FHA and VA home inspector and one HUD and FEMA investigator inspect a vacant, condemned, bank owned, foreclosed home for defects, mold, deterioration, electrical, plumbing heating, HVAC, mechanical, structural, roofing and for other building constituents. After they break in, they find a dangerous employee who is a homeless bum who states he just got a job from “The Bank of America” and his job is to be a house sitter. He is a drunk, dug addict, alcoholic, dirty old man who likes his vodka, porn and prostitutes. The ADHD disgruntle retired postal governmental agent who dreams of being a navy seal, bribes the inspectors into paying a royalty fee to vacate the home. This is one skit from one of our “Jim and Marko Show” classes. ”

Popping House Zits

Exterior paint blisters, peeling, and cracking paint that occur on older homes may be the cause of high indoor humidity. High indoor humidity is caused by indoor moisture generators such as a running furnace humidifier, a ventless heater, a dirt crawl space, a leaking dryer vent, a bathroom fan not properly exhausting, and much more. When the homes indoor humidity is higher than the exterior humidity, and grains of water travel through the walls to the exterior through a veichal called vapor diffusion. Older houses have many layers of paint that act like a plastic vapor barrier that does not let the house breath. In the winter, it is colder and dew point temperature is reached on the backside of the many layers of paint. Condensation occurs and water starts to accumulate like a water balloon until it pops like a zit and leaks out. Marko Vovk ClevelandMold, ClevelandMarko <a href="http://
